VIP Users: License Plate Recognition as Primary, Card Swiping as Backup

 

VIP vehicles have their license plate and card information pre-entered in the backend. Upon entry, the license plate recognition machine automatically captures the image, displays "Welcome" and the license plate number on the LED screen, and the barrier opens. In case of rain, nighttime, or a damaged license plate causing recognition failure, the car owner can swipe their VIP card; after successful card reader verification, the barrier opens again. The same logic applies upon exit-if the license plate is recognized, the vehicle uses the automatic lane; otherwise, a card swipe allows exit. Data from both methods is uploaded to the server in real time, ensuring accurate monthly fee deductions and entry/exit records.

 

Visitors: Ticketed Entry, Flexible Payment

 

For temporary vehicles, the license plate recognition machine first captures the license plate, and simultaneously, the ticketing machine automatically prints a small ticket with the entry time, QR code, and license plate number. Drivers enter the parking lot with a ticket, and the system has already linked the license plate and ticket code. Before leaving, drivers can choose to pay by scanning their ticket at the self-service payment machine in the elevator lobby (cash payment is accepted) or at the manual payment point. After payment, drivers scan their ticket at the exit ticket machine, and the system verifies the information and raises the barrier to allow passage.

 

Backend: One system manages two modes

 

The server maintains separate VIP whitelists and visitor temporary records. VIP monthly rental validity periods, card permissions, and license plate binding relationships are managed uniformly; visitor parking duration, payment status, and ticket transaction records are synchronized in real time. Financial reports can be compiled separately for VIP revenue, temporary parking fees, and manual payment points, or viewed in summary to meet the reconciliation needs of different scenarios.

Simple and clear equipment networking

 

As seen in the wiring diagram, the license plate recognition, ticket machines, and barriers at the entrances and exits are interconnected with the server via switches. Self-service payment machines and manual payment points are also connected to the network. The status of all equipment is visible in the backend; administrators receive immediate alerts about which equipment is offline or which cash drawer is about to fill.
